The exhibition "When Mother Went to Sea" was a collaboration between me and author Maria Dahl, with music by David Magyel.

A mother traveling by sea, a father and son waiting in a garden by the sea. Some who like to stay where they are and some who want to go out into the world. This is the starting point for the multimedia exhibition. The story is told by a narrator over loudspeakers in a room with paper installations that light up in time with the story.

With my paper sculptures, I built a room that represented the garden in the story, but that could also accommodate the sea through changes in light, from orange and yellow to deep blue tones.
